André spent 13 years being cast in one television role after another.

André also appeared in several movies with stars like Jane Seymour and Fred Astaire, and headlined his own movie, The Monster Squad (a cult classic that sells out at midnight showings) while starring for two years in his own TV series with legendary actor George C. Scott. From childhood to teen heartthrob, André was on every cover of the teen magazines and was a focal fixture on the teen star set.

At 18, André made a tough decision: postpone Hollywood and pursue another lifelong love, basketball, after being recruited by UNC-Asheville.

After college André became a journalist/sportswriter. His love of film never went away, though, and in 2002 he formed a production company with a friend. He now heads his production company, Cinema South.

Currently André is producing entertainment events, reading scripts, writing and making appearances. He splits his time between North Carolina, Las Vegas, and LA, traveling around the country frequently., traveli
